Couple exchanging rings before a tropical terracotta backdrop at Casa Kimberly

Casa Kimberly — Puerto Vallarta

Modern tropical, cut to fit the house.

Casa Kimberly is Spanish colonial — arches, talavera, a chandelier over the patio. For Loren and Rhett I built the ceremony from terracotta vessels at varying heights, filled with monstera, bird of paradise leaves, palm and fern, so the architecture stayed the loudest thing in the room.

The reception went the other way: white linen, wooden candlesticks, low and modern white and green tropical centerpieces you can talk across. For couples marrying at Casa Kimberly who want the house to lead.
