Citrus wedding flowers

Warm color, in full sun.

Coral, peach and yellow — tulip, ranunculus, poppy and garden rose. Bright color is easy to get wrong on this coast: it goes plastic under a midday sun. It holds if you keep it warm and stay off pure white.

This one was shot at a villa in Punta de Mita with an infinity pool that runs straight into the horizon. I built the arch broken — tall on one side, low on the other, open at the top — so it frames the line of the sea instead of covering it, and kept everything on the table low enough that the water stays in the frame.

For couples who want color on the table and still want to see the ocean.
