Sayulita beach weddings
Built for a town that stays barefoot.
Sayulita isn't a resort town, and a wedding here shouldn't look like one. For Martell and Julian the ceremony sat on a headland lawn above the water — no arch, just two green and white columns at the altar and a low run of white flowers down the grass aisle, with the town on the hillside behind. Her bouquet was calla lily and green amaranthus, trailing, nothing tight about it.
The reception went greener: anthurium, bells of Ireland and hydrangea in every register of green, bunches of grapes worked into the runners, and a chocolate-centered sunflower as the only dark note on the table. Green and white goes flat easily — it holds up on texture, not color. For couples marrying in Sayulita who want the day to feel like the town it's in.
