St. Regis Punta Mita
The Pacific wind decides what stands.
The St. Regis opens straight onto the beach, and the wind there isn’t a detail — it decides what stands. For Schaeffer and Ryan I skipped the arch entirely and built at ground level: an all-white meadow of roses and stock running the length of the aisle and gathered under the tree, weighted into the grass, no floral foam. Nothing above eye line, nothing for the wind to take.
The reception warmed up half a step — low compotes of blush and cream garden roses on white linen, taper candles, and the same grounded work at the base of the seating chart wall. For couples marrying at the St. Regis Punta Mita who want the beach to frame the ceremony instead of a structure.
