W Punta de Mita
Tropical, in a soft register.
The W hands you coconut palms and open ocean, and there’s no improving on that. For Julianna and Roman I built nothing overhead — no arch, no structure — just a low run of white flowers on the sand on either side of them, so the palms stayed the frame. Her bouquet was a handful of white lily and calla, stems bound and bare. Small on purpose.
The tropical showed up at the reception, but soft: anthurium in blush and cream instead of red, monstera and palm fans against garden roses, and a grounded cluster at the foot of the escort card wall. Anthurium usually shouts. It doesn’t have to. For couples marrying at the W Punta de Mita who want tropical without the noise.
